Established in 2016, HerRights Inc. (@HerRightsGlobal) is a registered nonprofit in the state of Arizona, USA, with a volunteer Board of Directors and operations in the United States as well as India. The organization is tax-exempt, 501c3 certified, and welcomes contributions from foundations, business collaborators, and individual philanthropists. Tanushree (Tanu) Ghosh Dhall, PhD (2016)
Founder and President; Board Member; Cochair, Executive Committee
Dr. Ghosh is the Director of Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations at the Intel Corporation. Her doctoral degree in Material Science/Chemistry was completed at Cornell University. She has served on the boards of several multichapter NGOs (ASHA and AID), and is an author and blogger for the Huffington Post. ​
Angel Elena Brandwein Aldero, MHI (2020)
Executive Director; Ex Officio Board Member; Cochair, Executive Committee
Ms. Brandwein is an innovation strategist and executive leader in the nonprofit and higher education fields, with a passion for social justice. She received her Master of Health Innovation at Arizona State University, and serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Institute for Mental Health Research. ​
Banoo J. Parpia, PhD (2016)
Board Member
Dr. Parpia is the retired Director of International Development at Cornell University. An epidemiologist by training, she served as Chief Coordinator on Cornell’s “China Project,” a landmark survey that produced an unsurpassed array of socioeconomic variables and a rich database for analysis.

Ms. Coons is District Rotaract Chair & President Elect of the Rotary Club, Mesa West. She retired in 2021 as a director for the United Parcel Service (UPS) International District, where she held leadership roles with responsibility for topline revenue and cost strategies.
McKenzie Comfort (2024)

Mrs. Comfort is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Alpha Marketing Strategies, LLC, and an innovator in the sales-brokerage industry. She focuses on small businesses and entrepreneurs on the rise, developing novel strategies to help ignite next level growth for those who will shape the future of the marketplace.
Jesse Elaine Nichols (2024)

Ms. Nichols is Regional Director of Operations at Alpha Marketing Strategies, LLC., where she manages operations and strategic sales support. In her current role, she has fully redesigned auditing, productivity, recruitment, and internal communications processes, driving efficiency and growth for the company.
Swe Yein Aung Mog, MS (2024)
Board Member
Ms. Mog is a microbiologist and educator currently serving as a Molecular Biology Research Specialist at Loyola University, Chicago. She is also a freelance academic and scientific writer with a focus on healthcare, the life sciences, and business administration. She earned her master’s from GITAM University, India.

ROSHNI GHOSH
Roshni works for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as a patent agent. She has a PhD from St. John's University in Developmental Genetics, and is pursuing a JD from Fordham Law school, part time in the evening. She also acts as a volunteer for Lawyer for a Day program in Westchester Supreme Court and International Refugee Assistance Project.Â
HEATHER MATTISSON
Heather is Chief of Staff at Gusto. She is a leadership Coach with 20+ years experience in Diversity & Inclusion, Product Management, and Information Technology. Previously, she served as Program Manager at Intel where she managed a student mentoring program focused on multi-year partnerships with education partners and nonprofits.
RUIA GUATAM
Ruia is a communications specialist for a nonprofit in Arizona and an emeritus member of the HerRights Board of Directors. She has served as a community organizer in Phoenix, AZ for many years, focusing on issues such as immigration, mass incarceration, economic justice, and voting rights. She previously served as Project Director and Communications Coordinator for OCA Greater Phoenix, the Arizona chapter of one of the oldest national civil rights organizations advocating for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs).
